K D Sparkle/Karen's Rowdy One

Our first this year is out of K D Sparkle is also her first - a very lively filly by Karen's Rowdy One.  This photo was taken about an hour after birth on Wednesday the 12th of March. Sparkle sort of surprised us by foaling in the afternoon out in the paddock.

After a few hours, the foal was walking around pretty good, so we led them to the barn, but about half way, she had to stop for a little break and enjoy the grass.

This next photo on the right was taken two days later.  Both mom and daughter are doing very well. 

Here she is at about five weeks - got sort of a "milk muzzle" and check out those gorgeous eyes.

Super Cheetah Star/Karen's Rowdy One

This is a view of our second foal of the year, born on April 5th, a colt out of Super Cheetah Star by Karen's Rowdy One.  (That's his mom hovering over him)  This photo was taken at one week and after he spent some time rolling in the mud. 

Here is a close up view.  He sure has beautiful eyes too, but I guess most all of them do --.Owned by Keith and Debbie Willey.

Speedy Starlet/Monterey Judge

On April 23rd, our 3rd foal arrived. This was a colt out of Speedy Starlet. Looks like he is checking out the new tree. 

Here is a closeup of the little guy.  He is by Monterey Judge and a full brother to K D Justice.  This photo was taken when he was four days old.

Dixie of Lodi/K B Farms Stallion & K D Misty/Jonathan Lobell

Friday the 2nd of May was a first for us.  At about 5 A.M. Dixie of Lodi, owned by George Sharp delivered a filly and about an hour later, K D Misty delivered a colt.  Sure was a busy time in the barn.

Dixie of Lodi delivered this good looking filly.  Looks like she wants to be close to mom.

Now at 3 days old, she gets her first look at the big paddock.

The photo on the left is a look at K D Mistys' little guy at about 4 hours.  He is by Jonathan Lobell.

Ellie/Monterey Judge

On Friday, the 23rd of May, our final arrival for the year showed up.  This foal  was a filly out of Ellie by Monterey Judge.

     Looks like the little girl has got her eye on some lunch.
