is Gretchen and I'm the alpha dog in charge of Willey Farm.
What I can't accomplish by barking or using my authority as alpha
dog, I do by my charm and cuteness. I'm a master of "the Dachsie look"
and I can do one perfect "prairie dog" sit when I want too! |

My twin Flash and I were born on Easter in 1988 in Citrus
Heights. At 10 weeks old, I came home with Mom and Dad. I learned dog management
skills and am now very well qualified for my many responsibilities here on the
farm (i.e., tell when it's time to feed, to get up, to go to bed, to eat
breakfast, lunch and dinner...)As you can see, I'm a smooth black and tan "tweenie"--at
14 pounds, too big to be considered a miniature and too little to be considered a
standard--just "between".

I love to play and "putter"
around outside. I love to play with my kitties, and sometimes they bring
me presents like a partially dismembered mouse or bird (yummy!). I also
love to snuggle and watch Animal Planet on TV--of course the kitty and
doggie shows are my favorites!
