| There's rarely a dull moment when I'm around! And I'm on the go most of the
time. As you can see, I'm a chocolate and tan miniature dachsie. My full
name is Chocolate eClaire. Born in November 1995 in Red Bluff, my first family
was the Gurys of now Sacramento, California. Because they loved me very much but
felt I needed more attention than they could provide, when I was 3 1/2 years old,
they brought me to live at Willey Farm. |

Besides being ready for any kind of
mischief, I'm into tennis balls and big rawhide chew bones. Little stuffed
toys with "squeekies" don't last me too long, but I like them too. I've also
destroyed a couple of Gretchen's stuffed bears.

| Daphne, my border collie
sister, is my best friend. We play together a lot. When we're in the yard I
like to play that I'm a border collie too, but I can't run as fast as
Daphne. I'm just as noisy though! In fact I'm quite opinionated and chatter
a great deal of the time! |

Being a dachsie, my first love is still food--
especially the people kind. I also like to burrow into afgans, blankets, and
Mom's sweater, robe or sweat-shirt--whatever is available at the time. |

nicknames include Claire-Bear, Clairie-Bearry, Brown Nose, Puppy, and
Problem Child. Mom says I have canine ADD, but she loves me anyway! |
